As Muslims round off this year Ramadan with the mandatory zakat lfitri which is giving to the less privileged , the acting chief Imam of Ansar ud deen society of Nigeria Afin Akoko , Sheikh Amidu Fasasi has asked muslims to perform the religious deed with modesty , humility and fear of Allah.

Sheik Fasasi said giving with pride and arrogance would not receive Allah’s blessings and reminded the muslims to continue with the good works especially giving to the poor even after the Ramadan.

The cleric also appealed to government to do more on giving out palliatives to the vulnerables at this period of global pandemic without making much noise about it with an appeal to Nigerians to follow the precautionary measures to keep them safe.
