Ondo State government has disbursed a one digit interest car loan cheques of 47.6 million naira to primary school teachers in the state
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu while presenting the cheques to the teachers at the government house in Akure, explained that the opportunity would be spread once the State’s purse became bouyant
Governor Akeredolu encouraged the teaching body to guard against every form of abuse and corrupt practices
Governor Akeredolu also noted that arrangements had been made to employ more teachers as soon as possible
Thanking Governor Akeredolu for the gesture, the state’s NLC chairman, Sunday Adeleye and a beneficiary, Mr Willie Famuwagun described the step as the first since the creation of the state in 1976
Also speaking, the state’s NUT chairman, comrade Victor Amoko who also commended governor Akeredolu for the rare privilege encouraged the primary school teachers to maximise the money for better economic advantage and educational advancement.
