THE CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF, LIEUTENANT TUKUR BURUTAI HAS ORDERED THE DEPLOYMENT OF TROOPS TO ARIMOGIJA-OWO- OBA AKOKO AXIS AND OTHER STRATEGIC AREAS IN ONDO STATE.

THE BRIGADE COMMANDER, 32 ARTILLERY BRIGADE, BRIGADIER GENERAL ZAKARI ABUBAKAR DISCLOSED THIS IN OWO DURING A COURTESY CALL ON OLOWO, OBA AJIBADE OGUNOYE.

BRIGADIER-GENERAL ABUBAKAR ALSO DISCLOSED THAT TWENTY FOUR SUSPECTS HAD BEEN ARRESTED WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF OPERATIONS AROUND OWO AND AKOKO AREAS

HE SAID THE NIGERIAN ARMY WOULD NOT RELENT IN CARRYING OUT ITS CONSTITUTIONAL ROLE TO PROTECT LIVES AND PROPERTY OF THE CITIZENS.

IN A REMARK, THE OLOWO, OBA AJIBADE OGUNOYE EXPRESSED SUPPORT FOR THE NIGERIAN ARMY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM, KIDNAPPING ARMED ROBBERY AND OTHER SECURITY CHALLENGES

OBA OGUNOYE NOTED THAT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ARMY WAS COMMENDABLE UNDER THE PRESENT CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF

THE MONARCH LAUDED THE NIGERIAN ARMY FOR THE SUCCESS RECORDED IN THE ONGOING FIGHT AGAINST INSECURITY AND OTHER CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES IN THE NATION PARTICULARLY IN ONDO STATE.

OBA OGUNOYE SAID HE WOULD CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE MILITARY IN ORDER TO FURTHER THE COUSE OF PEACE AND STABILITY.
