COVID-19: Massive Drop In Daily Infections

There has been a massive drop in the number of new infections of coronavirus in the last twenty four hours as the nation recorded two hundred and forty one cases.

In its  daily covid19 update, the NCDC confirmed the new infections in fourteen states led by Lagos which has the highest of one hundred and forty two, followed by Oyo with fifteen cases, FCT, thirteen, kano twelve, eleven in Edo and ten in Delta state.

Also on the list are Kaduna and River with nine infections each, eight in Borno, Jigawa four, Pleatue and Gombe have three each while Osun and Bauchi recorded one case each.

All these bring the total number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria to ten thousand, eight hundred and nineteen with seven thousand two hundred and sixty six active cases.

Recoveries have also attained three thousand two hundred and thirty nine while death toll is now three hundred and fourteen.
