Operations of Premiership and viewing centres have been banned in Ondo State to stop the spread of coronavirus

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu gave the directive while briefing newsmen at the government house in Akure

Governor Akeredolu decried the sudden increase in covid-19 cases in the state from nineteen to forty three

The governor noted that the 7pm to 7am curfew was still in place and enjoined  residents to come together and take total control against covid-19 pandemic

Governor Akeredolu advised those who already patronised the second hand wares sellers at Ojaoba in Akure last week to report themselves for testing and probably, treatment

The woman was the fortyfirst case who escaped from Imo State’s isolation centre but tracked to Oba market in Akure where she was plying her trades with unsuspected buyers

Earlier, the commissioner for health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro said fourteen cases were on admission with one hundred and thirteen contacts being traced.
