A Peoples Democratic Party Governorship aspirant in Ondo State Prince Godday Erewa has welcomed the State Deputy Governor Hon. Agboola Ajayi to the party in the State.
Prince Erewa described Agboola’s coming as a plus to the PDP family in Ondo State and his interest in contesting for the party ticket was not a threat to his ambition of clinching the party’s ticket in the state.
The PDP stalwart stated this while interacting with journalists in his country home Etikan in Ilaje local government area.
He said the exit of the state Deputy Governor and some Apc bigwigs from the party showed that the APC government in Ondo State had lost focus.
The Gubernatorial Aspirant commended the National Chairman of PDP Prince Uche Secondus for emphasising that all aspirants would be given a level playing field during primary and that the exercise would be free, fair and credible.
Prince Erewa therefore appealed to leaders, stakeholders and delegates of the party in the state to profile all the aspirants and vote for the one who has all it takes to win an election.
He expressed optimism in clinching the pdp’s gubernatorial ticket come July 22, 2020
