The Nigeria center for disease control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 499 new cases of COVID-19.
NCDC made the announcement through its Twitter handle late Thursday night.
Ondo state appeared to on the national chat with 56 new cases, only after Lagos and Edo state.
With the new development, the state has Recorded over 600 confirmed cases of the infectious disease.
Recently the Commissioner for health (Dr. Wahab Adegbenro) and former NMA chairman (Dr. Michael Adeyeri) lost their lives to the disease.
It was also gathered on Wednesday that many patients at the state Isolation center of the disease had started leaving the facility over the industrial action embarked upon by Doctors in the state.
