The All Progressives Congress in Idanre local government area of Ondo state has adopted Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for a second term in office.

Leaders and elders of the party from units, wards and local government adopted the incumbent governor on saturday at a meeting held at the APC secretariat located at Jigbokin Area of Odode Idanre.

Chairman of the party in the local government, Mr Olumide Adeuti said the achievements of the Akeredolu led Administration were unrivalled in the state and in Idanre council area hence the need to give him another chance to serve the people more.

Mr Adeuti explained that Governor Akeredilu had in no small measure transformed Idanre espcially in the area of school and road construction.

Also speaking, the commissioner for culture and tourism who is also a leader of the party in the local government, Mr Yemi Olowolabi pointed out that Akeredolu deserved a second term in view of his unprecedented achievements in Idanre local government and Ondo state in general.

His words “Idanre under Akeredolu has witnessed unusual developments such as the construction of the idanre-ijoka road which is unprecedented in the history of Idanre. This road is one of the many other road projects the administration has initiated and completed”

Olowolabi continued “The governor renovated many of our schools and above all his administration has engendered peace in Idanre and Ondo state in general, so he deserves a second term”

Present at the meeting were the chairman of the Idanre APC elder’s forum, Chief Boluwaji Akinnibosun, Central Senatorial Woman Leader, Mrs Ronke Akindolire, Education Secretary Idanre Local Government, Chief Ojo Alalabiaye, The local government chairmanship Candidate, Prince Kayode Aroloye Among Others.
