Ondo state is in another spike of COVID-19 as it now has Ninety five fresh cases of the deadly virus, becoming the highest single day infection since the outbreak of the disease in the state.
This bring the total confirmed cases of the disease in the sunshine state to eight hundred and sixty five with one hundred and thirty nine recoveries and twenty one deaths.
The sunshine state which used to be down the ladder of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is now seen moving towards the top.
The new cases in Ondo state are part of the five hundred and ninety five Infections Nigeria recorded yesterday as confirmed by The Nigeria Centre for disease control, NCDC, in its daily COVID-19 updates.
According to the NCDC, Lagos has the highest latest infections of one hundred and fifty six, Rivers, fifty three, Thirty eight in Oyo, seventeen in Osun, Ogun has fourteen while Ekiti has five.

Coronavirus cases in the country have now increased to thirty four thousand, eight hundred and fifty four while Recoveries have moved up to fourteen thousand, two hundred and ninety two.
Seven hundred and sixty five Nigerians have however lost their lives to the deadly disease.
