The General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has challenged christians who want to access the breakthroughs God has for them after the lockdown to as a matter of urgency establish a divine partnership with God.
Pastor Adeboye in continuation of the series, FROM LOCKDOWN TO LEAPING UP took his sermon from Genesis chapter 28 verses10-22 where he xrayed Jacob’s experience at Bethel as a model of divine partnership.
The cleric noted that Jacob left canaan with nothing while sent on exile by his parents but encountered God in his misery at Bethel where he committed himself to God who changed his narrative
He pointed out that partnership with God in “lockdowns” will attract Gods presence in all one does as seen in Jacobs experience at Laban’s house
Pastor Adeboye however said his plea to christians for renewed dedication at this trying time becomes necessary so their breakthroughs after the lockdown will not be shortlived
