Religious bodies across Ondo State have been reminded that the rules guiding religious gathering with respect to the prevention of COVID-19 is still in place.

A statement by the Chairman of Ondo State inter-ministerial committee on Covid-19, Professor Adesegun Fatusi, states that there should be no gathering of Muslim faithful as they celebrate the Eid el kabir in line with government directives that only only regular worship on Friday for Muslim and Sunday for Christian faithfuls is allowed.

He added that citizens are enjoined to abide with the precautionary measures put in place by the government as these measures are in the best interest of the people and the state.

Professor Fatusi wishes all Muslim faithfuls a wonderful and COVID-19-free Eid-el-Kabir.
