Ondo Records Low Single Day Infection

Single day infection of COVID-19 in Lagos state has continued to rise with the latest figure at two hundred and twelve in just twenty four hours.

Ondo is however among the states with low figures as it recorded only five cases.

In a daily COVID-19 update released by the Nigeria Centre for disease control, the latest figure in Lagos formed part of the six hundred and twenty four new cases reported in eighteen states yesterday.

They are:
Oyo-69, Niger-49, Kano-37, Osun-37, FCT-35, Plateau-34, Gombe-33, Edo-28
Enugu-28, Ebonyi-17, Delta-10, Katsina-9
Ogun-8, Rivers-7, Ondo-5, Kaduna-4, Nasarawa-2

Nigeria has now hit forty one thousand, eight hundred and four confirmed cases of coronavirus while recoveries have risen to eighteen thousand, seven hundred and sixty four.

Death toll is also increasing by the day as eight COVID-19 patients died yesterday bringing to eight hundred and sixty eight the number of lives so far lost to the virus in Nigeria.
