The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the provisional list of 17 candidates and their running mates for October 10, 2020 governorship election.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the only surprise is the choice of the PDP governorship candidate, Eyitayo Jegede who picked Olumide Ogunje as a running mate as against earlier reported Hon Ikengboju Gboluga and Banke Sutton.
INEC also recognized Peter Fasua as the SDP candidate as against another factional candidate, Adekunle Saliu.
All political parties still have right to substitute names of the their nominated candidates after a stipulated period.
