Ondo State government has presented appointment letters to thirty-five persons with disabilities
The beneficiaries ranged from the visually impaired, physically impaired with spouses, hearing and speaking impaired, Albino and the care givers
Presenting letters to the employees who were employed to be Higher trade, Assistant Education, and Tourism officers, Governor Akeredolu attributed the recruitment to recognition the administration had for the people with disabilities
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Temitayo Oluwatuyi, Governor Akeredolu said additional one thousand, four hundred and thirty two residents would soon be employed to make it 4,042 recruitment since the inception of the current administration
In separate remarks,The Head of service, Mr Oluwadare Aragbaye and the pro chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Dr Tunji Abayomi commended government for the opportunity and charged the employees to be dedicated to duties
Appreciating the state government, Mr Sanmi Elegbeleye, Mrs Busayo Ademeso and Mr Kazeem Aminu described Governor Akeredolu as a Messiah sent to liberate the disabled across the state.
