Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has reaffirmed his plans to make the state’s education sector compete favourably with its counterparts in the developed countries.
Governor Akeredolu stated this while commissioning three projects at the olusegun Agagu University of science and technology OAUSTECH, Okitipupa in Ondo State
The projects were the University’s adminstrative block, library and the auditorium
Governor Akeredolu described access to quality education as key to general development and pledged to continue to invest in the sector
In a remark, the commissioner for Education science and technology, Mr Femi Agagu thanked Governor Akeredolu led administration for rekindling the hope of the university through generous funding
Earlier, the OAUSTECH vice Chancellor, Prof Sunday Ogunduyile and the Pro Chancellor, Professor Akinbo Adasomoju promised to ensure that the attention accorded the university by Governor Akeredolu did not end in futility.
