The inter ministerial committee on covid19 in Ondo state says it will redouble its efforts at ensuring that citizens of the state remain committed to the virus health protocols

Chairman of covid 19 inter ministerial committee, Prof Fatusi Adesegun stated this when he led the team to monitor compliance in Akure, the state capital at the weekend calling for peoples support to break the chain of the pandemic

Prof Adesgun said government Taskforce team on covid19 compliance has not rested on its laurels to ensure that people do not relapse into complacence.

Being a weekend when social activities tend to be high the team combed some parts of the state especially churches and event centers to gauge the level of compliance

Most of the centers visited by the taskforce along, Iro,ayedun, orita Obele among others paid partial attention to covid19 protocols

Chairman of covid19 inter ministerial committee Prof Fatusi Adesegun appealed to citizens to align with government’s directive’s in fighting the virus

Permanent secretary ministry of health Mr Dipo Durojaye expressed satisfaction over people’s compliance and promised not to relent on the enforcement.

The team also noted that organizers of most of the social events had obtained governments approval with pledge to observed necessary guildelines.
