President Muhammad Buhari has been called upon as the commander in chief to prevail on the nation’s security apparatus not to allow security breach before, during and after the OCT 10 gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

Chairman, Conference of Nigeria Political Party, CNPP, in ondo state Mr Rotimi Boboye made the remark in Akure while addressing newsmen on the mounting political tension ahead of the forthcoming poll.

Mr Boboye who charged security apparatus in the state on the need to nip election violence in the bud submitted that the state could not afford to experience what happened in 1983 election this time around.

Chairman, Ondo State Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Chief Joseph Akinlaja opined that the violence that accompanied the recent local government election in the state was unimaginable noting that the attacks being unleashed on opposition parties in preparation for the gubernatorial election must be checkmated by the appropriate authorities.
