Idanre Community has donated the sum of Two hundred thousand Naira (#200,000.00) to the ongoing Children Hospital in the General Hospital, Idanre, Ondo State.

The cash was handed over to the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Kayode Omisogbon by the Odunwo of Idanre, High Chief Emmanuel Adetuyi, in company of two other community leaders, Chief Igbatoyo Akinnibosun and Chief Adaja Ilemobola represented the Ugha which consists of Owa as the paramount ruler of the kingdom and all the traditional chiefs of Idanre kingdom.

While making the presentation,  High Chief Adetuyi said the Owa and entire people of Idanre appreciated the remarkable improvement the hospital had been witnessing since the Dr. Omishogbon took charge at the health facility about two years ago.

He also commended Dr. Omishogbon for using his personal resources to build an Ultra Modern Operating Theatre which is nearing completion in the hospital.

Chief Akinnibosun assured Dr. Omishogbon Idanre people’s support in the task of building a solid and affordable health care system for the residents of the ancient town.

Responding on behalf of the
hospital’s management, the head of nursing services,  Mrs  Modupe Adeleke thanked the communuty for the donation, and their robust support  which she noted had spurred Dr Omisogbon into embarking on life impacting projects in the hospital.

The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Kayode Omishogbon later led the community leaders to inspect the Children Ward that had reached roofing stage.

Dr Omisogbon had in March this year, donated a 25seater bus which he personally bought for the hospital staff and announced that he would build an Ultra Modern Operating Theatre while he expected Idanre Community to build the Children Ward through donations.
