The Prominent Ruler of Idanre kingdom, Oba Frederick Adegunle Aroloye has cautioned the Amotekun Security Network not to derail from the lofty objectives and essence of its formation.
Oba Aroloye gave the advice while receiving the Idanre Local Government Coordinator of Amotekun, Mr. Ojo Michael Daralode and four other members of the security outfit in his Odode Idanre palace.
The Monarch charged them to perform their responsibilities with the fear of God and utmost sense of patriotism as they could not afford to disappoint the South west Governors that had invested much into the programme meant to provide better security and rest of mind for their people.
Oba Aroloye enjoined them not to allow the love for money sway them from the good reasons it was formed.
He prayed for the smooth operations of the group.
Earlier, the Idanre coordinator of Amotekun, MrDaralode had thanked the monarch for actively playing advisory roles for various administrations in the state.
He used the opportunity to tell the foremost traditional ruler that Ondo State Government had given Idanre Local Government a brand new Hilux vehicle and two equally new motorcycles to facilitate their duties.
Mr Daralode however revealed that their immediate problem was office accommodation which he hoped the Local Government would provide and sought the cooperation of all the people of Idanre Local Government and Ondo State to help them perform their responsibilities creditably.
