The Governorship Candidate of the Zenith Labour Party in Ondo State, Mr Agboola Ajayi has vowed to reduce tuition in all the state owned tertiary institutions to fifty thousand Naira if elected in the October 10 governorship poll

Mr Agboola who is also the state Deputy Governor, also promised to solve the problem over ten year-old power outage in Ondo south senatorial district within one hundred days in office as governor.

The ZLP candidate who made the pledge during the party’s campaign flag off in Ore, described as unacceptable, the outrageous increase in tuitions of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko and abolition of free health care for pregnant women and children by the present administration.

Mr Agboola who was flanked by his running mate and other party stalwarts, said he remained the most qualified candidate to lead the state as governor in order to rescucitate various social welfare packages including empowerment of workers, traders and artisans.

Addressing party supporters, the National leader of ZLP and former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko said Agboola Ajayi is determined to rescue the state from what he described as bad governance in the last three and half years.

Also speaking, a former PDP governorship aspirant, Mr Banji Okunomo, said it is the turn of ondo south senatorial district to produce the next governor of the state in the spirit of political fairness.

The campaign flag off was attended by the ZLP state Chairman, Chief Joseph Akinlaja; three former Speakers Bakita Bello; Taofeeq Abdulsalam and Jumoke Akindele among other political bigwigs.
