All is now set for the Launch of the campaign of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP for the OCTOBER 10 governorship election in Ondo state.
The incumbent Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi is the governorship candidate of the party while a former commissioner for works in the state, Engr Gboye Adegbenro is his running mate.
The event which is taking place at Government playing field, Ore, has political bigwigs from across the eighteen local government areas of the state.
Speaking with Radio Nigeria, the chairman, Agbo-Gboye campaign organization, Dr Kola Ademujimi appealed to the people of ondo state to give the ZLP candidate their votes for execution of social welfare packages.
Also speaking, a former PDP governorship aspirant, Mr Banji Okunomo, said it is the turn of ondo south senatorial district to produce the next governor of the state in the spirit of political fairness.
The campaign flag off is being attended by a former Governor Olusegun Mimiko, the ZLP state Chairman, Chief Joseph Akinlaja, former Speakers Bakita Bello; Taofeeq Abdulsalam among others.
