Death has crept into the Entertainment and Music industry in Ondo State, taking away a 100yr old Sakara Exponent, Amuda Obanla in Ikare Akoko, the headquarters of Akoko north East local government.
Popularly known as Alhaji Amuda okoja, the late Sakara exponent was the first Akoko musician to wax records in the mid 60s under the then Decca and later with late Bolarinwa Abioro with the likes of Sunny Ade, Barrister and Idowu Animashahun.
During his lifetime and his active years in the music Industry, the centenarian won many awards.
Late Amuda produced many records to his credit out of which Baba Eleshin shot him into the limelight.
He will be buried according to Muslim rites.
