The Governorship candidate of Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, in Ondo State, Mr Agboola Ajayi on Monday took his campaign to Idanre local government where he promised to prioritise care for the elderly and also reduce tuition in the state owned tertiary institutions to fifty thousand naira only if elected in the Oct 10 election.

Mr Ajayi who is also the state’s deputy governor and his running mate, Mr Gboye Adegbenro were received at the Owa’s palace in Odode Idanre.

He also pledged that his administration would put in place good health care system for the people of Ondo State urging residents of Idanre to vote massively for him in the coming election.

Earlier, the immediate past governor of Ondo state who is also the national leader of the party, Dr Olusegun Mimiko had told a gathering of party faithful and supporters that Mr Agboola Ajayi was the best candidate for the governorship position having acquired both political and administrative experiences that would make him perform well if he becomes Governor.

Responding, the Owa Of Idanre, Oba Fredrick Aroloye wished Mr Ajayi success in his quest to lead Ondo State for the next four years.
