Two persons were feared dead as the #EndSars protest turned bloody following an accident in front of the Government office in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.
Our correspondent reports that the accident involved Toyota Camry with number plate LND 778 GL and two commercial motorcycles.
One of the protesters told our correspondent that the Camry car rammed into the crowd and ran over the affected cyclists.
Another eye witness explained that two lifeless bodies and other victims of the accident had been taken to the hospital.
When contacted, Police PRO,Mr Tee Leo Ikoro said he was yet to be briefed over the incident.
Meanwhile, Youths from Ile-Oluji yesterday took to the street to join other youths in the country in solidarity calling for the reorganization of the police force and an end to the brutality of SARS.
The peaceful solidarity walk started at the front of the federal polytechnic ile-oluji under the guide of the men of the Nigeria police force.
The youths walk to the police station where the police public relation officer inchare of Ile-Oluji addressed the protesters before matching to the palace of the jegun of ile-oluji Oba Dr. Julius olufaderin Adetimehin jegun of ile oluji who admonished the youths to be law abiding while carying out the protest.
Oba Adetimehin commended the unity of purpose of the youth and express optimism that soon the Nigerian police force will be rearrange to the kind of police that every Nigerian will be proud to be identified with.
