Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has visited Okitipupa, Ore and Ondo towns for an on-the-spot assessment of the public and private assets destroyed by hoodlums during the #ENDSARS protest in Ondo state
Governor Akeredolu alongside Heads of Security Agencies visited the Nigeria Correctional Service in Okitipupa where inmates were set free by hoodlums having destroyed the facility.
Other facilities visited included Okitipupa Local Government Secretariat, INEC office, Nigeria Police Divisional Office, Police Area Command, Board of Internal Revenue office, the Okitipupa Court complex, Nigeria Police Station at Ode-Aye and the residence of the former APC Governorship Aspirant, Ife Oyedele that was equally destroyed and looted by the suspected hoodlums
Governor Akeredolu also visited a Court complex that was razed in Ore and also assessed the burnt micro-finance bank building adjacent to Osemawe, Oba Victory Kiladejo’s palace that was partly burnt and destroyed in Ondo
Other facilities visited in Ondo town included FCMB bank, Police Station and some vehicles burnt in the affected towns.
