The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ondo State has showered encomium on one of the party governorship aspirants in the last party gubernatorial primaries, Prince Godday Erewa as he promised to rebuild the state party secretariat that was burnt down during the Endsars protest in Akure..

The Party chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams made the declaration while addressing leaders of the party at a meeting today in the state capital, Akure.

Hon. Adams said Prince Erewa in his magnanimity had vowed to rebuild the structure and it was completed before December ending so that activities could bounce back in the office.

In a remark, the PDP candidate in the just concluded governorship election in Ondo State,  Eyitayo Jegede SAN, thanked Prince Erewa for coming to the rescue of the party at this crucial stage.

He said Erewa had added value and substance to the party noting that his impact so far cannot be forgotten.

Mr Jegede charged him not to relent in his contributions to the growth and development of the party in the state.

Also speaking on the development, a member of BOT, Ambassador Omolade Oluwateru and The chairman, PDP elders Council in the state, Dr. Tayo Dairo eulogized the kind gesture of Prince Godday Erewa and prayed that God would help him in accomplishing the laudable project.

While expressing  his readiness to complete the project, Prince Erewa promised to ensure a befitting secretariat was put in place for the party before the end of the year.
