A Former governor of Kaduna state, Alhaji Balarabe Musa is dead.
His death was announced by a former senator representing Kaduna-Central Senator, Shehu Sani on his twitter handle.
Alhaji Musa was aged 84.
He was the first governor in the history of Nigeria to be impeached.
Balarabe, who was a progressive, was the leader of the People’s Redemption Party in the 4th Republic but stepped down as the chairman in 2018 due to health issues.
The cause of his death could not be confirmed as the time of this report.
Announcing the death on Twitter, Senator Sani said, “Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his soul and grant him Aljanna Firdausi. Amin.”
