The chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team, PRTT Mr Abdulrasheed Maina has appeared in Court today after he was re-arrested by the combination of operatives of intelligence service in Niger and anti-corruption agents in Nigeria.
Maina was escorted to a Federal High Court Abuja by officials of EFCC about 8:25am.
Maina who is facing trial on alleged 12 count money laundering amounting to 2bn jumped bail after he was granted bail by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja
Justice Abang had ordered that Mr Maina’s trial to continue in absentia after he had jumped the bail granted him.
Maina was re-arrested in Niger Republic and extradited to Nigeria yesterday after he jumped bail.
