The family house of Awolokun Ogunfowowe situated at No. 30A Ilamoye St Mogun ujoko Igede Ekiti has been razed by fire.
The incident which happened at about 11pm of Friday did not spare anything in the house including a furniture shop owned by a young entrepreneur.
Speaking with journalists, some occupants of the building said they could not ascertain what really led to the outbreak.
According to them, all efforts to put out the fire failed as they watched helplessly as the fire brought down the building.
Meanwhile the family of Awolokun has pleaded with government to assist the young entrepreneur who list valuables to the fire and also assist the family to rebuild the house.
