The Majority Leader of the Delta State House Of Assembly, Hon. Tim Owhefere is dead.
Report says the lawmaker died of Covid-19 related disease
Hon Owhefere was said to have been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Asaba for having difficulty in breathing and was immediately placed on oxygen.
He However passed away on Wednesday night at exactly 11.50pm
It was gathered that the lawmaker had been sick for the past two weeks and due to that, he could not attend plenaries with his colleagues after the Christmas and New Year break.
Hon.Owherefe was serving his fourth term in the Delta State House of Assembly, representing the Isoko North Constituency under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
