Emphasis has again been placed on peaceful co – existence for national development.

This was the submission of speakers at a one day workshop organized by the Cardinal Onayeikan peace foundation in collaboration with the national council of Muslim youths organization nacomyo ondo state chapter.

Declaring the workshop open, Governor Ouwarotimi Akeredolu represented by the chairman Christian welfare board very Reverend Raphael Agboola said the workshop was timely especially as the country was passing through a trying period.

In an address, ondo state coordinator NACOMYO, Alhaji Yekini Alli stressed that collective effort must be made to face security challenges headlong.

Alhaji Alli added that government must collaborate with individual and groups making effort to unite the nation.

In a good will message , the chairman League of Imams and Alfas, ondo state sheik Ahmed Aladeshawe noted that for the country to achieve peace, people must be tolerant.

Sheik Aladeshawe emphasized that all forms of impartiality in appointments must be avoided by all means.

The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Ondo state Rev John oladapo represented by Rev Peter Abimbola called on Nigerians to build personal relationship with God.

A don, Professor isiak Amao challenged religious leaders to lead by example because of their great influence on their followers.

Dignitaries that graced the occasion included security agencies, clerics and civil societies groups.
