Report says there is palpable tension in Ajowa Akoko, Ondo State following the alleged killing of a 48year-old farmer, Dayo Ibiye by suspected herdsmen.
Ibiye was a cousin to Gani Muhammed-Ajowa, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on New media to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Confirming the incident on telephone, Mr Gani posited that “herders just killed my first cousin on his farm in Ajowa”

The deceased left behind one wife and seven children.
When contacted, the spokesman of the Ondo state police Command, Mr Tee Leo-Ikoro confirmed the incident saying investigation had commenced into the matter.
