Four persons have been arrested in connection with kidnapping, armed robbery, murder, and destruction of farmlands and property at Jugbere settlement in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State

Briefing newsmen in Akure, the Commander of Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspects were arrested within one hour of the operation.

Some hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers, illegal miners, and herdsmen, did not only kill a farmer and a member of vigilante group in the area, but also destroyed property, and set farmlands on fire including a vehicle belonging to Amotekun Corps.

Chief Adeleye, who said the arrest was done in collaboration with the Nigerian Army, Police and the Corps, explained that the crossfire lasted over an hour.

Chief Adeleye, said the existing curfew on motorcycles in the state from six in the evening was still in effect noting that his men would start its enforcement on Monday
