The Postmaster General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Postal Service, Dr. Ismail Adewusi, says the postal sector remains a key factor for rural integration and economic development.
Dr Adewusi stated this while on an inspection tour of facilities at the Postal Institute, Benin, the Edo State capital.
Mr Adewusi said the rural areas which most times suffered neglect could easily be integrated and reached through the sector especially in the midst of the economic downturn.
The Director, Mr. Anjorin Julius said the Postal Training Institution which was created in 1985 is a foremost facility in the country.
