Three couples that emerged from the positive FM valentine’s programme have been celebrated and presented with different types of gift items at an event organized by the station.
As part of programmes lined up to mark this year’s valentine’s day, Positive FM Akure had organized a phone-in programme during which the first three couples that called in had the opportunity to talk about themselves.
The three couples were Mr and Mrs Maduako, Endurance Owolabi and Tosin Ajila.
Presenting the gifts to them, the General Manager, Positive FM Akure, Mr Tunde Abiodun said the programme was a way of fosterning love among couples as well as encourage them to celebrate love always.
Mr Abiodun appreciated the supports of individuals and philanthropists that contributed towards the success of the programme.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Valentine’s day celebration, Mr Emmanuel Oriowo had said the couples emerged after proper scrutiny that showed that they were really in love and knew each other very well.
In separate interviews, the couples appreciated the kind gesture of the station stressing that their families had great fun hanging out with the management and staff of the broadcast outfit.
Also speaking, the CEO of A.A trado medical, Oshinle Akure, Dr Samuel Adebayo commended Positive FM for their quality programmes and balanced news reportage.
Gifts items were also presented to the friends of the station including Alhaji Jimoh Adejumo of fortunate eatery Ondo road, Akure.
