Super Falcons of Nigeria got their second victory in the Antalya Turkish Cup with a 1-0 victory over Uzbekistan in their second game of the tournament.
The Super Falcons started well with possessive football as they pressed for an opener.
Coach Randy Waldrum started the same team that beat CSKA Moscow 1-0 on Thursday, with Barcelona’s Asisat Oshoala leading the attack
The Super Falcons possessed the ball more but failed to find a breakthrough.
The first real chance of the game fell to Asisat Oshoala in the 31st minute as she raced into the box but lost the ball and turned to the referee begging for a penalty but the referee was not interested in her appeal

Toni Payne had the chance to put Nigerian ahead after she received a pass from Oshoala with the keeper beaten but the Sevilla forward shot wide
Nigeria’s goal came after the break in the 48th minute when Asisat Oshoala floated a pass to Halimat Ayinde who shot immediately to give the Falcons the winner
Uchenna Kanu got the chance to double the Falcons’ lead in the 86th minute when she raced into the box with the ball but her shot from a tight angle went inches wide
This is coach Randy Waldrum’s second game in charge of the Falcons and his second win.
The Falcons will play against Equatorial Guinea on Tuesday in the last game of the group stages
