The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha says COVID-19 vaccines will arrive Nigeria on Tuesday, 2nd March 2021.
Mustapha who confirmed this in Abujae explained that the Vaccines were being expected to leave the COVAX facility in India tomorrow Monday 1st of March and arrive Nigeria the following day.
The SGF said about Four Million doses of the Vaccines were also being expected in the first batch of the delivery.
He however noted that the expected date of delivery might be subject to change depending on the arrangements of UNICEF.
MR Mustapha also assured Nigerians of that the Federal Government was ready to receive the vaccines for re-evaluation and distribution as planned.
