The Secretary General of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Council, Omo’ba Adeleke Adegbite has bagged the award of Journalist of the Year.
This is in recognition of his various contributions to Societal Development through exemplary leadership style, and investigative journalism.
The award was conferred on him and nineteen others by IYÙN International Organization ( Egbe ÀGBÁRÍJO ÌGBÌMÒ IYÙN L’ÁGBÀÁYÉ) at an event of the organisation in Akure.
President-General of IYÙN International Organization, ( Egbe ÀGBÁRÍJO ÌGBÌMÒ IYÙN L’ÁGBÀÁYÉ), ÀÀRẸ Solomon Runsewe said, the organisation had closely monitored the activities of Prince Adeleke Adegbite and found him worthy of the honour.
The President General commended Omo’oba recepient for the exemplary and charged him not to renege on those attitudes that earned him the award.
