Installation rites have begun for the new monarch of Afin Akoko in Akoko  northwest local government of Ondo state, Oba AbdulRaheem Mustafa Adejoro.

This came after fifteen years that the town had been without a traditional ruler.

The installation activities began on Tuesday in the ancient town.

The new monarch, a  Professor, worked was with the National Open University of Nigeria before ascending the throne of his forefathers.

The Occasion was witnessed by sons and daughters of Afin Akoko community.

Meanwhile the new monarch, Oba Adejoro had gone into seclusion as part of the installation rites.
