Nigeria has commenced vaccination against COVID-19.
At the event in the National Hospital Abuja, Frontline health workers were the first to recieve the vaccination.
Our correspondent reports that the first person to be Vaccinated was Dr. Ngong Cyprian a medical personnel who has been at the isolation center since the outbreak of the virus last year.
The vaccination is still ongoing and one hundred and fifty Health workers are due to be Vaccinated today.
DIgnitaries at the event which include The SGF Mr Boss Mustapha, Minister of Health, members of the Legislative chambers, international partners, Religious and Traditional rulers described the event as historic.
