An Ore Chief Magistrate Court has ordered that a landlord, Tope Babade be remanded for allegedly assaulting three persons while executing a lawful order of the court.

During his arraignment, Police prosecutor, Jimoh Amuda told the court that Tope babade had on the 10th day of march 2021 at about 9.30 in the morning at area mother, Ore assaulted one Mr Oluwaniyi Adebanji and two others with fist blow while executing a lawful order of the court.

Amuda posited that by this act, Babade has committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 356(3) of d criminal code, cap 37, volume1, laws of ondo state of Nigeria 2006.

Ruling on the case, the trial magistrate,  omofolarin said the court did not consider it appropriate to rule on the bail application for the suspect since the nominal  complainant was still lying critically ill in the hospital.

Omofolarin therefore ordered that the defendant, Tope Babade be remanded in police custody till further hearing.

She thereafter adjourned the case till Wednesday 17th of march 2021.
