Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has sworn in four commissioners in the state, all of whom were members of his cabinet during his first tenure.
Following this development, three of the commissioners are to serve in their former capacities while the fourth is being appointed as commissioner for the first time, after serving as Special Adviser in the last administration.
Mr Donald Ojogo returns to the ministry of information, Mr Wale Akinterinwa, Ministry of finance, Mr Charles Titiloye remains the Attorney General and commissioner for justice while Mr Aminu Raimi will now oversee the affairs of the ministry of works as the commissioner.
Governor Akeredolu attributed the commissioners’ choice to their outstanding performances in the first tenure
He charged them to be committed to the yearnings and aspirations of the good people of Ondo State.
Responding on behalf of his colleagues, Commissioner for finance, Mr Wale Akinterinwa appreciated Governor Akeredolu for the opportunity with a promise not to let the people of Ondo State down.
The event which took place at the Dome on igbatoro road was attended by friends, relatives and well wishers of the commissioners.
