Staff of Radio Nigeria, Positive FM, Akure have been charged to always live above board in Modern Day Broadcasting for effective service delivery.
The Acting Zonal Director Radio Nigeria, Ibadan National Station, Mrs Bola Owoyemi gave the charge while declaring open a two day programmes planning Conference held at the Broadcasting House Ondo Road , Akure.
Represented by the deputy director programmes, Mrs Bolatito Joseph, the Acting Zonal Director stressed the need for staff of positive fm to collaborate and develop contents that would increase the listernership of the station.
Mrs Owoyemi also spoke of the need for love and unity in a work environment especially in broadcasting while also urging them to shun any act capable of retarding the progress of the state.
Speaking in her capacity as the deputy director programmes, Mrs Bolatito Joseph urged broadcaters and reporters in the service of frcn to explore the new media to achieve excellence in what they do.
Earlier in a welcome address, The general manager, Positive fm Akure, Mr Tunde Abiodun Said the programmes planning conference was on how to achieve the best for the station.
Mr Abiodun advised participants at the conference to make use of the opportunity provided by the programmes planning conference to improve on the station’s programme and dish out the best to the listeners.
Two of the participants, Mrs Busola Oladimeji and Mrs Bukola Bardi were of the opinion would pave the way for effective programming, assuring listeners of excellent broadcasting always.
