The Ondo State House of Assembly has distributed cash and food items to over one hundred and fifty vulnerable persons across the 18 local government areas of the state.

At the presentation of the items, the Speaker, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun noted that the move was part of efforts to reach out to the less privileged and give them a sense of belonging.

Mr Oleyelogun said the gesture was also a means of identifying with the needy and those with special care especially in this Easter mood.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman house Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development, Mr Akintomide Akinrogunde noted that beneficiaries were picked from twenty six constituencies that made up the 18 local government areas of the state for even distribution of the palliatives.
