The All Progressives Congress, APC, Membership Registration and Revalidation scheduled to terminate yesterday, has again been extended by three weeks.
The Secretary, National Caretaker Committee of the party Senator John Akpanudoedehe made this known in a statement in Abuja.
Senator Akpanudoedehe said the extension followed the audit reports received from the National Membership Registration, Revalidation and Update Committee, the States’ Registration Committees and that of the party’s Situation Room.
He said the reports indicate that most states for varied reasons, started late, and require additional time to conclude the exercise.
Senator Akpanudoedehe said there were
a lot of applications from critical stakeholders including all States Caretaker Chairmen for an extension of time to capture Nigerians who were still desirous of joining the fold of the party.
