Tragedy struck again Sunday afternoon in Akungba, Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo, as a Toyota Hiace bus crushed two motorcyclists popularly known as Okada riders, to death in the University Community.
It was reliably gathered that the two motorcycles had head-on-collsion, before the unsuspecting 18-Passengers bus from Ikare axis crushed the survivors of the first accident.
According to eyewitnesses, the fatal accident dismembered the body of one of the victims.
The driver of the ill-fated bus with number plate MUS 361FN took to his heels immediately the unfortunate incident happened.
Both the DPO of Akungba Divisional Police, CSP Shakiru Ajibola and the Head of Operations of FRSC, Ikare unit, Mr Kabiru Mohammed could not be reached for comments as at the time of filing this report.
