The Funmi-Ayinke Humanity Foundation, FHF has donated over one thousand books to selected schools in Ondo State.

The foundation also gave out financial supports to fifty aged women in some communities in Akoko and Owo areas of the state.

The FHF, an initiative of Engr Dr Funmilayo Ayinke Waheed-Adekojo was aimed at touching peoples life as part of her philanthropic gestures.

Some of the benefiting schools include Okota High School, Arigidi-Akoko, St.James Anglican Primary School, St. Paul Anglican Primary School, Arigidi-Akoko and some indigent students in Imade College Owo.

The distribution done on her behalf by the President of the West Africa Youth Council, Amb. William Emmanuel was also witnessed by the Chief of Staff, Amb Eniola Ogunjobi and few other youth volunteers in Ondo State.

The volunteers moved from house to house to show solidarity with less privileged and also spoke with young people on the importance of education for a better living.

Another set of beneficiaries

In an interview, Engr Funmilayo Ayinke Waheed-Adekojo said she derived passion in reaching out to those in need and helping the helpless.

She noted that she’s also passionate about praising and appreciating God hence her venture into music.
