Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has described provision of modern infrastructure and condusive environment for Fulani herdsmen as a way out of herders/farmers conflicts in the country.

Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje stated this when he received the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero who paid him Salllah Homage at Government House Kano.

He said building peace and resolving conflicts between different ethnic groups in the Nation was the key to societal development.

Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje explained that the current security challenges currently bedevilling the nation erupted because of negligence of some people to the welfare and development of the masses.

He noted that to curtail current security challenges and conflicts that usually occured between fulani herders and farmers there was the need to provide all necessary infrastructure and education for both parties, adding that traditional institutions have a vital role to play in ensuring peace and stability.

In a remark the emir of kano Alhaji Aminu Bayero congratulated the Government and people of Kano state for witnessing the Eidil-Fitr celebrations .
