Two residents of Ajowa Akoko who were kidnapped early yesterday have regained freedom from their abductors.
The victims, a commercial motorcyclist, Jamiu Idris and a farmer, Sulaiman Taiwo were allegedly kidnapped by some herdsmen at a bad portion along Ajowa-Akunnu Road.
Police and other security agencies in the area reportedly swung into action the moment the matter was brought to their notice.
The divisional officer in charge of Okeagbe SP Ade Akinwande confirmed the release of the victims.
According to him, the kidnappers abandoned their victims in the Bush as a result of the hot chase given them by the security personnel
