Four persons were on Friday crushed to death by a trailer in Lagos.
It was learnt that one person was also injured in the accident.
The incident occured at the first gate of the Lagos State Polythechnic axis of ikorodu area.
This immediately attracted protest from people in the area who described the road as a “death trap”, urging the government to pay urgent attention to it
The protesters, which included transporters on the road, set up a bonfire and blocked the road for hours.
They also blocked all routes leading to the road, leaving passengers to trek long distances.
